It was 2012 when I first learn about vision or dream boards and how it will play an important role in achieving our dreams. I am not really into it. Maybe because I grew up in an environment where we believe that "contentment is a virtue". That dreams are for those who are wealthy. Just recently, one of my mentors shared his story about a piece of tarpaulin he hung on his wall since 2012. Printed in the tarp were his dreams divided into 5 categories; financial, physical, relational, intellectual and spiritual. In those categories, he cut out pictures of the things he wanted to accomplish. It was the first time, I saw a huge dream board. It has been in his wall for 3 years now. And guess what? He is now enjoying 10% of it.
According to makeavisionboard.com, vision boards can serve several purposes and some of which include helping us to identify our vision and give it clarity, reinforce our daily affirmations and keep our attention on our intentions. After some research, I decided to make my own vision or i'd rather call it "My Ultimate Dream Board". And this is it!
I simply put my dream house, my dream car, the places I love to visit, the charity foundation I will be donating and the reason I wake up everyday, my ANGELS!
Making it is so simple but very fulfilling. I discovered something in me that I never thought I had; my dreams.
